銆怰EVIEW銆?mean that the traditional search technology can be independent or to create and support a company to replace the traditional gateway to establish the new portal standards and values?
Baidu IPO, the first time heard the news in Beijing, was not surprised, after all, shouting "independent" default "cattle Card Scheme" (Dual Class Structure), home of inducements at the expense of Google's Robin Li by no means trivial Huyou the generation, market speculation is false is true bondage crumbles on its own.
I was surprised, however, that Baidu will be so hot market, would be so sought after by Wall Street investment house, will stock up so floating rate with the City win would create so many millions or even tens of millions of the rich, will be so so stunned critics and pundits ... ...
Evening Beijing time on August 5 in the U.S. NASDAQ listed Baidu, financing 109 million, again to refresh the current Overseas Chinese Internet IPO financing records. Issue price of 27 U.S. dollars, the opening price 66 U.S. dollars, 6 August break through 150 U.S. dollars, reaching 150.05. Overall than Shanda, Sina, China's Internet into the highest market price. Since Baidu's share price shot up on the first day of trading in 354%, making Baidu's biggest shareholder before the 200 all become millionaires overnight. According to media reports, 22% of the shares held by the company Baidu CEO Robin Li and creative people, personal wealth is as high as 900 million U.S. dollars.
In such a beautiful and gorgeous under the lights, a reminder own, Baidu is indeed full of hope and the pursuit of a bright future is boundless. However, Baidu's market mean that the positive in the international market against and beat Google? Does that mean that the network has long been criticized for infringing, illegal charges linked cases can be automatically scrubbed? Mean to greet the arrival of a domestic Internet new impetuous and bubble peak? mean that the traditional search technology can be independent or to create and support a company to replace the traditional gateway to establish the new portal standards and values?
Google watching long been the domestic search market, due to the threshold of the policy can not be led to delays in Localization, resulting in not as the same as in the U.S. search market, crowned champion of the place. A few hundred years ago the United States shortly before the knife of the shares and none of lobbying for Baidu worship in their good graces, but Baidu is more encouraged to take off. Joint venture with the Kai-fu Lee to join is no doubt the beginning of the two sides at daggers drawn. If the eldest Baidu in China is a more reliable local and traditional resource users are familiar with the mining, then it increased market today is the greater challenge, not only legal, institutional and other rules of the game challenges, more the corporate governance structure and practices of global Internet users familiar with the challenges or not. To win in the global market a long positive working day Google is not able to complete the Battle;
Link and download a variety of tort law is to create Baidu one-third of the direct flow of power, conscious of its listing under the bar before Baidu, MP3 search link from the House as to the law-abiding behavior and management approach, as it is in the midst of domestic A resignation under external pressure and compromise Wall Street investors that further steps may be reluctant to CDC Baidu, NetEase, China Life, UT Starcom, CAO, Sina, followed the career worries, etc.;
Network economy is Attention Economy, the focus within a certain period and the limited nature of the inevitable and doomed the impetuous bubble value. When the network economy and is not a 蹇芥偁 蹇芥偁 may lose a sense of self-economic characteristics of the new rates will not attract so many people, the concept and the company followed one after another. However, the final is impulsive silence, the limit is broken bubble, the first lesson of the network is still vividly remembered the life and death low, the bubble set off by Baidu is definitely the beginning of time WEB2.0 not climax and end;
Baidu to do the traditional door from behind the search provider, transformed into an independent search portal on the Internet, regardless of industry or on its own development has indeed changed a great advantage, but Baidu is similar to Google with too much, together with Microsoft, Yahoo , in the search, Sina, Sohu has to enter the search market, Baidu is doomed to establish self-characteristics of the search portal and values can not, at least in the near period of time will continue to go with G.
Hardships for the worst, Baidu is now in the comfort of intoxicated, does not know that already worry about with, Baidu will go left or right away? Us wait and see!
